The Leiman Library

I once spent a memorable Shabbos at the home of Rabbi Dr. Shnayer Leiman. His library is legendary, and some of the treasures of the collection are now featured on the website http://www.leimanlibrary.com. An especially valuable resource on this website is a collection of over a hundred articles by Rabbi Dr. Leiman that can be freely downloaded, including such treats as The Adventure of the Maharal of Prague in London. It's a real treasure trove!

(Thanks to S. for letting me know.)

  1. From what I can see, there are only about 60 articles available, although the numbers go up to 110.

    Another shameless Slifkin distortion!!

You know a man by the company he keeps. By that measure, you're an apikorus.

  4. What a stupid comment. He wrote 110 articles, all quoted in the complete bibliography, but only about 60 are available to read. It has nothing to do with Natan in any case.

  5. Thanks for the tip, Yonatan. I will make sure that every person whose first or last name starts with an S is off my mailing list!

  6. Pliny's right. Judging from ephraim's comments from previous threads, his comment here is clearly meant to be a joke (and a pretty funny one at that).

  7. I judge people by their sense of humor (or lack thereof).

    Enough said...

  8. Speaking of Far Rockaway memories: As a fellow and a somewhat older Far Rockawayer, Shnayer Leiman taught me how to ride a bike when I was about 10 and he was about
    12.
