ReplyDeleteNo, Rabbi Slifkin is a Brit and is following British usage, in which collective nouns are construed as plural. Remember the opening phrase of the Balfour Declaration, "His Majesty's Government view with favor..."
DeleteHow high up were you sitting when at your closest to the lion in the photo? Did you have an armed guide with you? Could he have protected you if the lion had charged?
