  3. Here's one for rationalist Judaism: the Femara discusses the line/circumference ratio in .עירובין דף יד. That's the 3rd tractate on page 14. 3.14!

    Admiring exemplars of the indomitability of the human spirit is one thing. But before adding him to your honorary el-moleh list, you might remember he was a supporter of BDS and a few years ago refused to attend a physics conference in israel because it honored Peres's 90th birthday.
