Too Outrageous To Be True?

Here are advertisements for two events. One is outrageous and is merely a satire of the other, which is outrageous and is actually taking place. Can you guess which is which? Of course you can, because there's only one type of gaslighting which is socially acceptable.

Please share the latter with whoever might be seeing the former.

  1. The people identified in the latter group are not really the equal-and-opposite equivalents of those in the former group. And Tom Cotton is a Senator, not a Congressman.

  2. It would be helpful if you could link to the actual advertisement.

    1. Some Jew he is. More like a gestapo...

    2. How can peter beinart say that antisemitism doesn't exist is totally beyond me. Just look at the restrictions Bill de Blasio and Cuomo placed on Jewish communities. To say what he says is actually anti-Semitic.

    3. when one is a virulent zionist moiser, one says whatever one needs to , to ingratiate oneself to actual jew murderers...

    4. Why don't you write that nonsense with your real name? Zionists never killed anybody. Zionism means returning to Israel and nothing more.

  5. I just learned who Anthony Hervey was; and that he was MURDERED by people who opposed his message, on his way home from making a speech. Better get some one else for this meme. Thank you for letting us know about him though.

  8. Both are absurd but if not for the proud boys sponsorship I probably wouldn’t have guessed which is legit

  9. After researching both adds, the first is obviously absurd. The second, if a real add would be correct since America is not a racist country.

  10. Tlaib should begin by addressing antisemitism in the Muslim world. ACJA

  11. Why are you so surprised that Rashida Tlaib will be speaking about antisemitism. According to the MSM in the US that is so anti Trump (and anti Israel) and that you get your news from, she is not an antisemite at all. So what's the problem?

  12. Not especially outrageous. Their point is to expunge antisemitism from anti-Zionism. Make sure that wokeness knows the difference between Jews as people and Zionism as colonialism. Make liberal and progressive American Jews as comfortable as possible in the USA so they have no motive to move to Occupied Palestine. That is precisely what, on the opposing side, American Jews should be doing against local Islamophobia. Make Americans who think of themselves as Palestinian as comfortable as possible in the USA so their grandchildren assimilate and have no desire to redeem "Occupied Palestine".

    1. @Avi Rosenthal, No, I disagree. I think it is an outrange. Jews should not assimilate with non-Jews and definitely not with Palestinians, Because non-Jewish values are alien to Judaism and results in the abandonment of Judaism. Its fine to have non-Jewish friends, but it is wrong to promote it. If anything, rabbis need to make a stronger effort to promote aliyah to Israel in order to prevent assimilation.

In Leviticus 18:3 we read: “You shall not follow the practices of the nations of the land of Egypt where you dwelt, or follow the practices of the nations of the land of Canaan, to which I am bringing you, nor emulate their customs." In Leviticus 18:24 the Torah warns: “Do not defile yourselves with any of these (acts). It was with these acts that the nations defiled themselves.” In his code of Jewish law (Mishneh Torah, Hilkhot Avodah Zarah 11:1) Maimonides recommends we separate even the way we dress. Maimonides understands the Torah to remove pagan practices (idolatry) from Israel.

Thus, the Zionist movement was erected to help preserve their Jewish identity. Many mistakenly thought in the Diaspora Jewry that by assimilating they would be accepted and treated as equals. They were wrong. This is why Israel is a political haven and a state where Jews could live freely and be the majority. A great Jewish phenomena in recent times is the return of thousands of Jews to Judaism.

Israel is not colonialism. Jews have been living is Israel for thousands of yeas and was promised by G-d to Abraham. And to criticize Islam is not Islamophobia. Islam is not a religion of peace. Whenever atheist say religion is evil and must be expunge, I say I agree with you. So long as you are ONLY talking about Islam!

    2. Avi, very few so-called Palestinians in America have any desire to return to their alte heim. Most are quite happy to settle in the land of the free, put down roots, raise their children and, once in while, condemn Israel to remind themselves of their heritage.

    3. This is the Satmar approach. According to the Vayoel Moshe, Zionism is the major cause of Jew hatred, the Holocaust and everything else bad including melted ice cream. If Israel would go away and the Jews would go back to enjoying being persecuted, all would be good. That is the message these groups are peddling: Israel go away. Jewish stop being Jewish. Remember Michael Chabon's solution to the Jewish problem? This is the same.

  13. What are your sources for suggesting that Sen. Cotton, Tucker Carlson and Mark McCloskey are racist? They are certainly aganst Black Lives Matter but as far as I know all of them agree that black lives matter.
